Please join us for our January Meeting were we will be giving back to the community by volunteering at Kids Food Basket.  We ended 2021 with a fundraising event for Toys for Tots, let’s start 2022 by giving back to our local community!  Please sign up by January 14^th! We have a limit of 18 people.

You could be assisting with things like sandwich making, sorting food, re-packing bulk food items, or other much needed tasks. No task is ever a guarantee, and projects do change last minute due to food goods available on-site. Please be ready to have a good time while ensuring kids in our community get the nutrition they need to thrive! 

Event Description:  Sack Supper Food Prep
Volunteers will work with nutritious, ready to eat food goods. Goods will be parsed out into individual portions to be included in Sack Suppers for local area students. Volunteers may also help with setting and cleaning up of work areas. Because food needs change quickly based on inventory and menu, no specific volunteer role is guaranteed, and tasks could change last minute. Thank you for your flexibility and understanding!

Attire:
-  Please wear appropriate attire to volunteer, which includes clothes you would not mind getting dirty. Our Sack Supper floor/warehouse can get hot or cold depending on time of year, so please dress with consideration for weather.
-  Hairnets and beard/facial nets (as applicable) must be worn by all volunteers working with open food. These items will be made available to you prior to the start of your volunteer shift.

Health & Physical Requirements:  For the safety and health of the children receiving Sack Suppers, if you are sick (even with a mild cold, sore throat, sniffles, etc.) you will not be allowed to volunteer.
